Improving your relationship with your alpacas will not only make your interactions with them more joyful and pet-esque but it will also lend a hand to making husbandry tasks more doable - any injections, toe nail trimming, shearing etc.

Timescales will depend on the invidividual alpaca and there are numerous temperaments out there so I cannot claim this is going to make every single alpaca perfect. With time, improvements should come and with a bit of consistency and perseverance- you should find that herd life at least gets a bit calmer and a lot friendlier
